Call for applications: Carl Friedrich Goerdeler-Kolleg for Good Governance 2012

20 German speaking young professionals are invited to participate in seminars on “Good Governance” in Berlin and Warsaw from September 8 – 29, 2012. In a follow-up project they will contribute to future cooperation in Europe. The participants get to know examples of implementing politics and good governance in Germany and the EU. They are thus able to gain exclusive insights into political life and establish contacts.

Application deadline is set for March 12, 2012.

Scholarships for university graduates coming from European Neighbourhood Policy countries

The EU (European Commission/DG Education and Culture) will probably offer a significant number of scholarships to graduates from the European neighbourhood policy countries for post-graduate studies to its Bruges or Natolin (Warsaw) campus during the academic year 2012-2013. These scholarships cover academic expenses, accommodation, meals and travel costs.

The countries concerned are: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine.

The deadline for submission of applications is 15 January 2012.

British Deputy Prime Minister’s speech at the EU Eastern Partnership Summit

PASOS letter on the post-electroal situation in Belarus

PASOS, a network of policy centres of which PAUCI Foundation is a member, has issued a letter on post-electoral situation in Belarus. The letter is addressed to the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle.
