Strengthening the Capacity of NGOs in the EU’s Eastern Partnership – Study Visits Program
|
PAUCI Foundation announces results of the competition to participate in the study visits program for NGO representatives from 4 Eastern Partnership countries: Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia. 20 NGO representatives will carry out two-week study visits to one of the three other participating countries. Study visits will take place in June-July this year.

The program is implemented with financial support of National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and is aimed at strengthening the capacity of NGO leaders and fostering greater crossborder cooperation in the framework of the Eastern Partnership. Following the initiative of the Villa Decius Association Sergio Vieira de Mello Prize was established in the year 2003 with an aim to promote democracy and tolerance, and to pay tribute to Sergio Vieira de Mello, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.This year deadline for submitting applications is June 30.

The Fifth Kyiv Dialogue has started its work in Berlin today. This year international forum is called “Green New Deal – Ukrainian-style?” and covers issues related to energy security and transparency, European energy market tendencies and Ukraine’s role in it, as well as role and perspectives of energy-efficient technologies implementation in reducing import demand.
