Study visit to the Ukrainian-Polish borderland
On 5-8 of July, PAUCI Foundation organised a study visit to the Ukrainian-Polish borderland with a representative of the Central German Network for Innovative Environmental Technologies in order to study the development problems of the region with special focus given to rural development.

Meetings and informative conversations were held among others with representatives of local governments in Lviv and Stary Sambir (Ukraine) and Przemysl and Bircza (Poland), higher education sector (Agrarian University in Lviv, Agiculture College in Vyshnia, Eastern European East European State Higher School in Przemysl), rural schools participating in the UPS project (Ukrainian: Nizhankovice, Terlo and Polish: Lipa) and third sector (Ji Magazine in Lviv, South-Eastern Scientific Institute in Przemysl). PAUCI and the Central German Network for Innovative Environmental Technologies committed themselves to share information and ideas for the future common activities in Ukraine and Poland
