Establishing of School Centers for Environmental Education in Ukraine
The project is a logical continuation of the previous PAUCI project that aimed to improve awareness of the community in 13 Ukrainian cities on the issues of Earth resources preserving. Within the project, Centres for environmental education in 13 Ukrainian Schools will implement their pilot two-weeks public activity programs. The activity program will comprise of training for community and authorities representatives, carrying out a thermovisual analysis of some municipal buildings, public events by pupils and their parents, press-conferences, work in groups to find alternative ways of energy saving and environmental protection. To decorate the room for the Centre of environmental education and implement the pilot program, the schools will receive material aid. Four schools that will win in the competition of the pilot programs will receive awards and prizes as well as extended training on demonstration equipment usage.
