Establishing of School Centers for Environmental Education in Ukraine The project is a logical continuation of the previous PAUCI project that aimed to improve awareness of the community in 13 Ukrainian cities on the issues of Earth resources preserving.

 

Improving Conditions for Pupils. Implementation of Demonstration Projects on Raising Awareness and Changing Behavior on Energy Consumption in Schools PAUCI Foundation has been implementing projects to promote energy efficiency since 2007. Research and action projects that were implemented by PAUCI demonstrate that there is a possibility to reduce heating energy consumption in communal buildings – kindergartens, schools, hospitals – in 77%. Experience of some Ukrainian cities proves that energy saving effect can be reached through modernization of the building and change of behavior of energy consumers.

 

Integrated approaches to communal energy-saving During 2010, PAUCI Foundation implemented an international project “Integrated approaches to communal energy-saving”.
